Donna & I have wanted a freeze dryer for years. We have both been on the Harvest Right mailing list for a decade. I have more emails from Dan from Harvest Right than I do from my own family. The problem is… they’re pricey and did we need a freeze dryer? Not really.
However, the fact that we’ve been obsessed was hardly a secret. They snuck into the Mercenary Librarians series and we kept saying we were totally going to buy one. So one day I just emailed Harvest Right and said, “Hey, we’ve sold
like half a million post-apocalyptic books and I bet we could be so excited about freeze dryers people would buy them! But we don’t have tiktok or youtube, you just have to trust us.”
Weirdly, they trusted us enough to give is a pretty sizeable discount. So with the help of our discord community, well… now we have a freeze dryer! It’s a Small Harvest Right Pro and its name is Smol Bean and we love it.
